Our Founder’s Story
Eric Kelch’s journey began with his grandfather, who pioneered the first KOA east of the Mississippi in 1965.
Growing up immersed in the RV park industry, Eric absorbed invaluable lessons about outdoor hospitality. In 2004, he expanded his horizons by starting a construction company that evolved into a comprehensive real estate development firm.
In 2009 Eric started working at KOA, Inc. and resigned from the Director of Real Estate Development position in 2022 to focus on Outdoor Ambition.
By 2014, driven by a vision to revolutionize outdoor spaces, Eric founded Outdoor Ambition. His extensive experience, from vertical construction to real estate sales, shapes our innovative approach and fuels our relentless drive to create exceptional outdoor environments.
